Time is truly a gift! When we consider the fact that time is given to us on a daily basis this is something to really ponder on. You see, we cannot take back time that has only passed us by. Neither can you go back in time. Although, there are moments when we wished we could.
Truth be told, time is going by quickly and yet we are given this gift to be faithful with. It is important to consider the time we have and time we have already spent. Are we making the most with the time we have been given? God, help us to consider our days and to acknowledge that each day is a gift with time to be used for good!
Some of us have goals set with the hope to get ahead. Others have a little time left and want to be surrounded by loved ones. Still there are those who wished they had more time to do the things they always wanted. Wherever you find yourself in this moment in time; I encourage you to make the most of it and do not put off what you know you can do now.
You may ask I would do that if I know how much time it took me before; there would be no difference. Actually, it would be a great time to examine how you are using the time you have been given. Evaluating how you can possibly be even more effective with your time. Consider this; trying to cram multiple things can actually be ineffective at times. It may be best to ponder how I can get done with this even if it takes me more than one day.
The other aspect to consider is that life is truly passing us by quickly and it would be a great time to become mindful in how you can be around those you love and appreciate more. Consider the time that is spent and what you can do in order to have more of these times to be with the ones who mean the most to you. Take in each of those moments and be thankful to have that time together. This time will not be given again.
I also ask those of you who still have things that you want to accomplish to think about how you can do something about this now. Begin with creating a two part list including goals to accomplish each of these desires and needs. Now set up each of these desires and needs from your top priority down; remembering to include goals. Lastly, set realistic steps that you can begin with in order to reach each of these from your list. Before you know it, you would find that you are on your way to accomplishing these things and not living in any regret.
With all this said, we come to see there is much to consider when it comes to time. It is up to us to recognize the gift time truly is to each of us. From goal setting, fulfilling dreams, working on major projects, life, family and friends we see that time is given to us to make the most of!
