Stay plugged in

Stay plugged in

For most of us, to be plugged in may refer to connecting directly to a person/s, place/s or thing/s. I would like to take a look at being plugged in a little further. Why should we plug in and what may be the result of this decision. Let’s take a moment to discuss, ‘Stay Plugged In.’

For many of us have had the experience of needing our phone to be plugged in? We notice the battery getting low and we need our phones to be charged up and ready for us on a constant basis. We know that if the battery dies, we cannot use our phones until we get it charging somewhere. If you are like me, you will understand how this can impact each of u when you have forgotten your charger at home and your battery has reached that point that you cannot use it. It is then that you realize, I now have to wait until I get home to charge it again in order to use it.

Let’s take being ‘plugged in’ now on an individual basis. You recognize that when you do not plug in, you may find yourself feeling awkward, disconnected and even left out. There is something about the way God created us and that is to recognize our purpose and destiny. Being plugged in is a conscious choice of connection. When we see our need to be a part of something, we then decide how to connect and what part we may play in regard to the whole. God’s plans for our lives are so difficult for us to figure out on our own and that is why faith is of the utmost importance to walk it out.

There are moments that you may have to plug into something you never saw yourself doing but you have a sense of peace that you should. You also may feel reluctance because of the unknown. You may be afraid to walk it out. What happens if you are wrong? Missing the mark, does not disqualify. Doubting and misinformation can only cause delay. We must remember it takes faith to follow God’s leadership. Where God guides, He provides. Plug into all God has for you. Stay in relationship with Him. Allow His still, small voice to take you places you cannot even imagine. Remain plugged in.

How has being ‘plugged in’ affected you? What about when you unplugged and disconnected? How has right connections made a difference in your life? Share your stories. Thank you for taking moments with me.
