PLACES AROUND THE WORLD

A BLOGGING COMMUNITY COLLABORATION

First of all, let me start by saying that I am sincerely excited to be a part of such a great blogging community. It is my honor to collaborate with each of you regarding, “Places Around the World.” Today, I am taking a moment with each of you to discuss some of my favorite places I enjoy while living in Central Florida.

Many come from all over the world to visit Florida. Living in Central Florida especially during the pandemic has been unique. We had a season where everything was shut down like many other places in the world. However, our governor and local leaders made a variety of decisions to slowly open while maintaining precautions, understandably.

There are several great places you can enjoy while visiting Central Florida, but I am going to share three places in particular that I really appreciate and enjoy. These include: Beaches along the East Coast (i.e. New Smyrna, Ponce Inlet, Daytona and Cocoa); Disney World (this includes any and all 4 parks); and a variety of restaurants in the tourist area.

Ponce Inlet is one of my favorites. It is priceless time in the sun with its beauty not only on the beach but you can also tour a Lighthouse and museum. You get to experience Florida’s rich blue skies, the bright sun hitting your face, and just enjoy listening to the sounds of waves hitting the shore. It is an extraordinary place for the entire family.

Honestly, when it comes to Disney World, I have to say all parks are wonderful to visit. But if I were choosing my favorite, I would say, it is Hollywood Studios. One of the main reasons is that there you get to have a ‘Star Wars’ experience with thrilling rides, Star Wars characters walking around and much more. You can also have one of my favorites, ‘Blue milk’ at the ‘Milk stand.’ You can read my Star Wars fan blogpost

Another area, I really enjoy is “Toy Storyland.” You can get on rides feeling like you are in “Toy Story” with Woody, Buzz Lightyear and many other “Toy Story” characters. Honestly, the kid in me loves this kind of fun so much and I believe you will too.

Lastly, there are some restaurants I would like to share. While in Hollywood Studios you can try one of my favorites, “Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo.” I have special dietary needs and they have taken good care to meet my needs and the food is incredibly tasty while you have a ‘Star Wars’ Experience. Also, if you are vacationing in the area, you can find one of my favorite restaurants, “the Cheesecake Factory” which is located just a short drive down the road from the parks.
