Sometimes the best experiences are the simple ones—finding something different to do together, slowing down, being creative, and enjoying each other’s company.
For our anniversary, my husband and I decided to try something new at Color Me Mine Altamonte Springs, and we had such a wonderful time!
When you arrive, a team member walks you through the process and explains what to expect. You then get to choose your own piece to paint. There are so many options, including mugs, vases, bowls, dishes, and more. With so many choices, it was actually difficult to decide!
Since we were celebrating our anniversary, we chose a heart-shaped dish. We enjoyed sitting together, choosing our colors, being creative, and simply having fun. It was a great opportunity to step away from our normal routine and enjoy some quality time together.
Our finished piece was ready for pickup about a week later, and we were so pleased with how it turned out. It was absolutely beautiful and gave us a special keepsake to remember our anniversary experience.
