Journey Decisions

Journey Decisions

For the most part, living out our plans in this life can be very interesting at times. We come across so many crossroads along the way; we tend to wonder if we are taking the right path. The times we do not seek out all that might come with our decisions, can cause us to make major mistakes. But with much insight, remaining in prayer and in accountability we can find ourselves walking in ways of wisdom. Let’s take a moment to talk about our journey and the paths that may include some real important decisions.

Like me, I am sure you have come across a crossroad at least once in your life. It is a vital place of decision. It is something that you know that can change your life in a major way. So how do you handle these vital moments? Most importantly, take time to pray and consider where you are and how you honestly got there. Seek out what may take place with the choices you have in front of you to choose from. Also remember, it’s so important to consider how your decision can impact not only yourself but those closest to you.

Major decisions can leave us with some real questions. Such as, ‘Am I making the right decision’ and ‘what happens if I did?’ The vital part about these times is that you don’t pause for too long and remain indecisive as this can also impact so much in your life. You have to live with the fact that you need to move forward and live out what may come with the choices you are making. When you leave God in the center of it all, you can rest in that He leads you in the way you should go. So move forward by faith in the peace He is giving you (a true inner peace He Alone gives).

You also must be careful with how many different voices you listen to. Do not allow the opinions of others to impact the major decisions you have to make. There are many who will say different things at times and can lead to confusion if you are not careful. Even if you have individuals you trust, they may feel differently too than what you may sense in your heart. This is why as mentioned already; you must be led by God’s peace. God promises that He leads, guides, provides, protects and will take you to where He wants you to go.
