She is willing to extend herself. She gets up early and is willing to stay up all night. She makes herself available. Even when she feels she has no strength, she is willing to push and extend herself. She knows that she may not always hear thank you. Everything she does may not always be recognized but still she continues.
She knows as time goes by, things change and now her role changes too but never who she is. She walks with the changes and continues in her availability but also with a sense of release as she sees all the fruit of her labor. If there is one thing to remember is that “Mom” is to be greatly appreciated no matter what the season is and NOT only on one day. Her work continues no matter where she is in her life. She understands that her role does not end.
Take time to honor, cherish and genuinely consider “Mom” on a daily basis. Let me hear your thoughts about your mom and expressions of your love for her with honor and respect whether she is still here with you or she has passed. Thank God for “Mom” for she has great worth and value. Take this moment and consider, without your “Mom’ you would not be here.
