There are moments when we sense the need to move on and try something different. We may feel tired of where we are and find the need to step out in faith toward something new. First, it becomes vital to recognize what steps to take and how to implement each one. Let’s take a moment to discuss “Try Again.”
When you have worked hard on something, you may feel tempted to quit when it doesn’t work out, especially if it seems like you’ve failed. The truth is, you might regret never trying if you didn’t. It’s important to keep in mind that you haven’t failed; rather, you’ve acted in faith.
Whenever things don’t work out as planned, it’s a good time for evaluation. Perhaps you did something impulsive or premature. No matter what, remember that stepping out is usually a good thing because none of us want to feel stuck.
Trying again should be a push towards something better. Always pay attention to your “Why.” Having a need for change is one thing, and acknowledging the reason is another. Knowing your “Why” keeps you disciplined and focused with purpose in moving forward.
I love this quote by Thomas A. Edison: “There is always a way to do it better… find it!” Perhaps you need a better accountability system in place. Maybe a personal coach or someone close to you can help in this area. There may be things you aren’t considering. This is why reviewing your progress is important and why having someone to talk to about your successes and failures matters.
If we aren’t careful, we can revert to doing the same things we are trying to do differently Pay attention to old ways and patterns you might be repeating. If you do the same things over and over again, how can you expect a different result? Carefully consider your decisions and the choices you’re making toward the results you desire. You’ll see there’s always another way because you didn’t stop. Keep reaching for more, continue on the journey, and don’t let any distractions or failed attempts stop you. Make up your mind: “I will try again.”
I love hearing from each of you. Have you experienced moments where you needed to “Try again”? Share your story and let’s continue to encourage each other. It takes discipline and determination to keep trying. Do you have others you are accountable to who have helped you keep trying? I believe success is not measured by how many times you tried but by the fact that you never gave up.
There is always another way.
Keep pressing on and find it.
