During this time of year, I like to take a few moments of reflection. I think it is important to do so in preparation to enter into a new year. Let’s take a moment to discuss, “Some Things I Experienced This Year.”
Unexpected Blessings and Opportunities
First, I want to consider how differently some things went than expected—and that’s okay. I wasn’t sure if I would be able to attend both Orlando’s MegaCon and San Diego Comic Con, but I was amazed and deeply grateful for the opportunities that opened up for me to do so. I was incredibly blessed to attend both events and was completely humbled to be part of the press at the HerUniverse Fashion Show in San Diego. For the first time, I also visited the San Diego Comic Con Museum, which was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend checking it out if you’re ever in San Diego.
These moments were not only enjoyable but also inspiring, and I hope to attend these events again in the new year—and perhaps even more!
Sharing Stories That Inspire
This year, I continued to share my thoughts on certain TV shows, series, and films, especially those that inspire and uplift. It’s my hope that sharing these reflections encourages others to support content with meaningful storylines. It can sometimes feel difficult to find something truly enjoyable to watch, so I believe it’s important to highlight works that are worth celebrating.
Women’s Conference: Boundaries
Every year, I host a women’s conference at Resplendency, and it’s always a highlight of my year. I love connecting with women from all over the world, bringing words of inspiration and motivation. This year’s theme was “Boundaries“, and I’m so thankful for those who collaborated with me. Hearing their testimonies and insights on this topic was incredibly uplifting. Moments like these remind me of the power of community and shared wisdom.
Health Challenges and Lessons Learned
In the middle of the year, I faced some physical difficulties that required medical testing. Thank God, the doctors were able to discern certain issues, and I had to make some dietary changes again. Maintaining good health can be challenging, but I’ve come to see it as an ongoing journey. Everyone’s body is different, and it’s important to listen to what it needs. I continue to take it one day at a time and will undergo more testing in the new year.
These experiences have taught me not to take anything for granted. Life’s storms can be difficult, but they often have a purpose. When faced with challenges, we have a choice: to grow better or to grow bitter. I’ve also realized the importance of recognizing those who are genuinely there for you during tough times.

Finding Gratitude and Moving Forward
Although I may not have accomplished all of my goals this year, I’ve learned the value of contentment. I’m thankful for what I was able to achieve and will continue to pursue the goals that remain. Every opportunity, collaboration, and connection has been a blessing. Writing guest posts, working on collaborations, and adding an affiliate program to my platform have all brought excitement and growth to my heart.
Closing Reflection
As I look back on this year, I am reminded of the importance of gratitude, perseverance, and faith. Even though not all my goals were accomplished, I’ve learned to cherish the journey and remain content while pursuing what’s still ahead. Every opportunity, collaboration, and connection has been a blessing, and I am excited about what the future holds.
What about you? What moments from this year brought you joy, taught you a lesson, or pushed you to grow? I’d love to hear about your experiences—feel free to share them in the comments below. Let’s take a moment to reflect together and prepare our hearts for all that’s to come in the new year.
Thank you for joining me on this journey. These are just a few of my highlight moments this year. Your support means so much, and I look forward to sharing even more moments with you in the year ahead. Wishing you a season filled with gratitude and purpose!

I too have shared my own personal reflections on the past year, and what my hopes and goals are for 2025. It’s quite meaningful to look back in this way and see what we have achieved or enjoyed (and what we need to work on).
It sounds like you had some amazing experiences throughout the year (going to any kind of comic con sounds wonderful, especially ones like at San Diego—which is on my bucket list). The women’s conference also sounds very uplifting, it must have been incredible to connect with so many people there!
I hope you have a great 2025, and that your health continues to thrive.
