MY 2021 BLOGGING YEAR IN REVIEW

MY 2021 BLOGGING YEAR IN REVIEW

This year, I really pushed myself to launch out into the deep and do even more in my writing. I am so encouraged at how much has occurred since doing so. I have been able to update my blog, edit and re-share blogs written from previous years that are still relevant today and have had the honor to connect with some really wonderful writers in the writing community. Let’s take a moment to discuss, “My 2021 Blogging Year in Review.”

As 2021 comes to an end, I would like to reflect on my blogging year in review. I enjoyed celebrating my 5 year blogiversary and have sincerely appreciated everyone who acknowledged this milestone with me. Over the past two years, I made a decision to be even more intentional in my writing and connecting with more who also write. It has meant so much to engage with so many more on my blog.

As we now enter 2022, I am looking forward to doing even more. I would love to connect with even more writers. I also would love to engage with even a greater following on my blog and have even more readers. I have enjoyed engaging with many on social media too. I would also like to begin to make money if possible doing what I am passionate about. I love encouraging others so much in speech, writing and especially in action. I will continue to update my blog and expand my writing. I also look forward to doing more guest posting including writing articles for others and continue to work on a book project. These are just a few things mentioned that I really look forward to doing.

As we now enter 2022, I am looking forward to doing even more.

I understand that to do more will require more, so I am working on becoming even more intentional in everything I do. Outside of my blog, I have a full plate of volunteer work with Resplendency that I so enjoy and am honored to be a part of. With that said, I know the importance of setting realistic goals. I wrote about this in “Goal Setting.” I know this may mean being even better with my time management.

I honestly do not like to call goal setting ‘resolutions’ but rather moments of intention that will come forth as I purposely move forward in implementation. I also understand that it is important not to put any unrealistic expectations that could lead to discouragement. I think rather it needs to be understood that what is required of me, will take a determined mindset to walk out.

So to close one year and enter another is a great time to reflect and not be discouraged by what you did not accomplish but what you actually were able to. For so many, the virus continues to affect so much of life and it is definitely something to not take lightly. I also want to express the importance of taking care of yourself. We each can become so overwhelmed by ‘our doing’ that we can forget about taking care of ourselves and the necessity of taking breaks. Over this next year, that is something I will purposely keep in mind. The necessity of balance in our lives is so vital for our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual part of our lives. This takes wisdom and an ability to pay attention to signs of burnout.

I want to take this moment to wish each of you a very Happy New Year! I pray that 2022 will be a blessing and that you be successful in moving forward in your goals. Stay safe and healthy. I would love to hear some of your goals for 2022. Also, what self care activities you might be planning for the necessary breaks we each need.

The necessity of balance in our lives is so vital for our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual part of our lives.
HAPPY NEW YEAR
