COMING TO THE END OF THE FAST

We find ourselves coming to the end of our fast. This month dedicated to deny ourselves and go deeper with the Lord has been so incredibly sweet. God desires to give us times of refreshing and I am very grateful for this. He has a way of reaffirming His promises and bringing a greater strength. Let’s take a moment to discuss, “Coming to the end of the fast.”

It was important to us to begin this year set aside for God in prayer and fasting. We believe God is drawing us closer to Himself as we do this. He wants to download what we need in order to sustain us on a daily basis. It is in these times of fasting and prayer we gain insight in that God is our daily bread and fills us up greater than food or anything else.

I have come to recognize, God leads us as we seek Him with our whole hearts. It takes time in His Presence and meditating on His Word. I believe you have had some sweet insights with the Lord as you have taken time in fasting and prayer too. I would love to hear from you how God has met you in a special way in this time in fasting and prayer. Every time we share we bring encouragement to others. So blessed to know there are those who have come in agreement in prayer and have sincerely taken time in prayer and fasting with us. We believe God has heard our prayers and is answering us according to His will and plans for His glory.

During the month of January, my husband and I felt the urgency to begin the New Year with fasting and prayer. We encouraged each to join us at Resplendency whether locally or out of the state, as the Lord led and make sure to get medical advice before beginning. We believe there is power when we corporately fast and pray. We also have a web series called, “Be Resplendent” on our YouTube channel ResplendencyInc. You are welcome to tune in where we discuss more.

  1. Ditto, my Love, Ditto. To my beautiful wife, yes we were so nervous, excited and extremely happy all at the same time that our wedding day had come. I, too, would do it again. I love you!
