DEMONSTRATION OF LOVE
Extending love to those special in your life should come naturally. There is this innate response inside of us to demonstrate love unprovoked. However, we also must be mindful to never take for granted any of these whom we deem special to us. Honestly, when you have a walk with God, He gives an ability to love even the unlovely. Let’s take a moment to discuss a demonstration of love.
On a daily basis, would you admit that you walk in genuine ways of love toward others? Do you do things for others naturally or with reservation? It is understandable to hold back in kindness if you are healing from previous wounds from others. When you receive love, it comes easier to replicate it back. There is a desire in each of us to be loved, accepted and approved if we were honest. When you have been hurt you might hold back and perhaps see everyone the same and move forward very cautiously.
God’s love for us is demonstrated to each of us on a daily basis and we decide how much of it we receive. Freely we receive and then freely we can give His love toward others. It’s funny that you actually will not have to demand love but you demonstrate it naturally in your everyday life. He influences you to choose to be an extension of Him to others. Like it or not, we are changed in His Presence when we have received His love. We then understand that we should do the same.
Let me know your experiences in your life regarding receiving God’s love and now having an ability to give it out freely to others. We have opportunities daily to demonstrate God’s love in our words and in our actions.
