TAKING TIME IN FASTING AND PRAYING

There is something about taking time with fasting and praying. I believe the standard for Biblical fasting and praying leads to a deeper relationship with God. When we take time away from food (certain foods) for a time, we soon recognize how much more aware we become to the things of God. Let’s take a quick moment together and discuss, “Taking time in fasting and praying.”

During the month of January, my husband and I feel the urgency to begin the New Year with fasting and prayer. We encourage those who can, to join us at Resplendency whether locally or out of the state. We encourage each person to do as the Lord is leading and make sure to get medical advice before beginning. We believe there is power when we corporately fast and pray. We also have a web series called, “Be Resplendent” on our YouTube channel ResplendencyInc. You are welcome to tune in where we discuss more.

I believe beginning the year with fasting and praying, sets the course for the year. It is letting God know that you have decided to give the first month of the New Year totally dedicated to Him. It is as if you are saying to God, you are most important, more than anything and I desire God in everything throughout the entire year. For that matter, every moment of my life. Let me know your thoughts and if you are able to join us in this month of fasting and prayer. By faith, we can expect great things from God together.

  1. Ditto, my Love, Ditto. To my beautiful wife, yes we were so nervous, excited and extremely happy all at the same time that our wedding day had come. I, too, would do it again. I love you!
