2017

A New Year is here and it is good to anticipate better days! Crossing over into something new will cause many of us to reflect on what was; as much as what could still be. How about taking this opportunity to distinguish between where you are and take in there is still more for me, there are things I have not yet experienced that I desire to do and walk in. Let’s not stop living but take in there is still a lot of life to live! Examining this moment is a perfect time to do so as you transition into a new year!

We can purpose in our hearts that where I am has been good enough or we can now look at some things and choose to begin with some changes that are completely possible and not too difficult to attain. Making excuses for what you cannot do only causes you to continue to experience overwhelming dread, failures and lack of aspirations. It is with an ability to renew your mind in prayer and determine in your heart, I will make those changes that I must and not make any more excuses for not doing it yet. I will not wait until I am possibly forced to do so but will have this in mind that I must do this for my own good knowing it will bless me and I will see the things I have longed for.

This is not about resolutions as much as it is about reflection and decision making. It is a great time to do so. We have now entered a New Year and with that we can look at it as a “new beginning” or a “fresh start.” It can also be a great time to renew your purpose and challenge yourself to keep moving forward with stamina and resilience. So much can take place with this mindset. I encourage you to take this moment of the beginning of a New Year to examine where you are; purpose yourself to grow this year with great determination to push through constantly!

Wishing each of you a very HAPPY NEW YEAR!
