ENDURING THROUGH

ENDURING THROUGH

I have found myself in this place before more than once. Maybe you have been through these moments too. I am referring to hard-pressed times, seasons of trials and tests. You know, those moments that can be so overwhelming, but the importance of pressing on through it is vital. Take a moment with me to discuss, “Enduring Through.”

Enduring through takes our part. It requires a mindset to not allow yourself to quit under the pressure. Faith and hope are necessary and just as important. There are moments in life that can really cause pain. Heavy hearts can ignite disbelief, disconnection, and even disillusion if we are not careful. I encourage you to run to God, and not away from Him no matter what. Take time to pause, pray, and wait before you respond. This will make a difference.

Unfortunately, dealing with different medical issues can be trying for anyone. For me, on top of this, I was in a car accident a few years ago where I was the front seat passenger, and we were hit from behind by 2 different vehicles. Since that time, I have had to deal with neck pain and sometimes difficulties in lifting a certain amount of weight, etc.

As I thought about these difficult moments, I wanted to share them with you. I realize we each may be dealing with times of adversity and moments that can be so overwhelming and I believe it is so important that we continue on in life and not allow these times to stop us.

I realize we each may be dealing with times of adversity and moments that can be so overwhelming and I believe it is so important that we continue on in life and not allow these times to stop us.

Recently, my car accident injuries became so difficult that I found myself needing more physical therapy and needing to see a doctor. I understand the importance of self-care and paying attention to when your body is speaking to you very loudly, especially with pain. So, I had to evaluate how I could endure through this appropriately. I decided to lessen my exercise routines, and for some everyday things, I had to attain some extra assistance. Let’s be honest, that was not a great feeling, but it was necessary to get better.

Something I think is very important is to take your pride out of the picture when you have to endure. It is not always going to look like what you think and may not be pretty. These moments are not only necessary but will help you through.

As I continue on my health journey, I understand there are steps we must take. We must learn to endure through these difficult moments. We also must accept help when necessary. If need be, talk with someone to get the support you need too. As difficult as dealing with health issues could be, it can impact you emotionally and mentally too. We don’t have to act like nothing is wrong or that we are not hurting. I encourage you to talk with God in prayer first and find someone you can trust, whether it’s family, a friend, a pastor, a mentor, a coach etc. Please navigate appropriately so you can endure through these difficult moments. Remember you do not have to endure through alone.

Although I may have to continue on in faith through these trying moments, I am learning to accept what I cannot change and endure through what I can. Thank you so much for taking moments with me. I would love to hear your story. What are you enduring through? I believe sharing our experiences helps others too.

Don’t let anyone or anything make you believe you are stuck.

There is always another way. Keep pressing on and find it.
