I recently watched “Save Our Squad With David Beckham” on Disney Plus and wanted to share some of my thoughts about it. This is a very inspiring series where you see David Beckham return to an East London Club, playing in the league. The Westward Boys team along with the coaches are so surprised to learn that Beckham comes to support their team. Take a moment to read, “My Thoughts on: Save Our Squad.”
During this Disney Plus series, rated TV-14, you learn that David Beckham was desirous of returning to where it all began for him in soccer (in London known as football) as a younger boy. He reflects on all the lessons learned over the years and decides to now bring inspiration to the current team of younger boys. This is the same place where he once played younger too. You quickly see how much Westward boys team loves him and looks up to him. They are ready and eager to learn but soon realize how much work it takes to get to the next level of players.
I must admit I sincerely loved this series and that’s why I really wanted to write about it. It brought me to tears several times and I enjoyed seeing how the team grew. It was wonderful to see David Beckham, who is very well known for all his skills in soccer, return and bring so much motivation to these boys.
I highly recommend this series on Disney Plus. I believe you will be inspired too and will want to binge-watch the entire series. Make sure you have tissues too.
