ASSURANCE

There is an assurance in this time of praying and fasting that God is so close and hearing our hearts. Having a relationship with God is by faith and is maintained on a daily basis through this confidence that we can approach Him at any time. It is amazing that we now have already approached our third week of praying and fasting. Let’s discuss briefly, “Assurance.”

I like to call it confidence, as I rest in the fact that I gave my heart… my very life to God and I can everyday approach His very throne of grace and mercy because of Jesus. There is so much to pray about and consider at this time we live in. Without this confidence, there is an unsettling chaos and constant fear of uncertainty. This relationship draws you to this place in your faith that God has me and everything pertaining to me in His hands no matter what the circumstances look like and how it may turn out.

Some may call it, “Blessed Assurance.” I would definitely agree. It is something that cannot be fully explained. In this third week of fasting and in prayer, let’s rest in the fact that God is hearing our cries and we can trust His will and plans for our life. We are putting Him first and we must keep Him always before us. Let me hear your thoughts. Share your experiences during this time in prayer and fasting. I would love to hear from you. Remember your stories encourage others.

During the month of January, my husband and I feel the urgency to begin the New Year with fasting and prayer. We encourage those who can, to join us at Resplendency whether locally or out of the state. We encourage each person to do as the Lord is leading and make sure to get medical advice before beginning. We believe there is power when we corporately fast and pray. We also have a web series called, “Be Resplendent” on our YouTube channel ResplendencyInc. You are welcome to tune in where we discuss more.

  1. Ditto, my Love, Ditto. To my beautiful wife, yes we were so nervous, excited and extremely happy all at the same time that our wedding day had come. I, too, would do it again. I love you!
