Every day we can find so many things to sincerely thank God for. It is up to us to acknowledge these things and see them appropriately. We each can be guilty of looking at what we still need rather than what we already have. In this season of Thanksgiving, take time to remember the goodness of God. His goodness is forever!
I encourage you to take this moment to thank God for things both BIG and small that you know He ALONE did for you this year! Now remember these are things you recognized but there are things you are not even aware of that He has done! You will be amazed and overwhelmed! His goodness cannot be measured! His faithfulness is provided daily.
Taking time to express your thankfulness is an important part in life. The fact is there are many who tend to take so much lightly and will not take a moment to simply say, “Thank You.” Let’s take a quick moment to discuss, “Live thankfully.”
It’s funny how many things in life both big and small are being taken for granted. For the most part, as these things are happening, we must pay more close attention to how these things are vitally impacting our lives. We must become more aware of these things. Truth is if we didn’t have these things in our lives, we would have very different results.
For the most part, when you begin to pay more attention, you also intentionally want to express these simple words, “Thank You.” If you are not one to express these words yet, I highly recommend you to decide to do so starting today. Your heart would change and your appreciation for life would be impacted tremendously too. Overall, you also would begin to recognize the way God has caused things to work for good to those who love Him.

Take a moment to examine all the things in your life that have impacted you. Decide not to wait to say, “thank you” and choose to pay attention to all that God has done and is doing for good on your behalf. Express sincere thanks to God and to those who play an important part in your everyday life.
Share what you are truly thankful for this year and make sure you express it this Thanksgiving. Thank you for taking a quick moment with me.

Being thankful has become forgotten about in the me me me instant gratification society. Being thankful and taking amount to appreciate life is a calming process that makes you appreciate life.
This was a nice reminder to take stock of the things we do have and move forward from there rather than focus too much on the negative (that often holds us back). Thanks for sharing.
I so agree that having a mindset of thankfulness and gratitude is really important and impactful. My life has felt very full lately and I’ve been so thankful for that. One thing I’m grateful for is supportive coworkers as I work in a stressful environment. Our team dynamic is so fun and we can share our ups and downs with each other. It makes coming to work so fantastic 🙂
Love this post! Gratitude is so important for growing a healthier lifestyle and mindset. I’m most thankful for being alive and for my health.

I remember a priest said during his homily everyday is thanksgiving day and we should always be grateful.
Yes, being thankful for what you already have will actually add to your life and how you live and view it. I am truly thankful for my family this year. Highly grateful to have had the opportunity to spend time with them.

I like your thoughtful posts. I like the idea of Thanksgiving too. And yes we take too much for granted. Especially those things and people closest to us. If we appreciate them we not only do ourselves a favor but others too. Xx
