BEING READY AND PREPARED FOR MORE

BEING READY AND PREPARED FOR MORE

It is one thing to say your are ready for more and another to be prepared for it. We may think we are ready but are we equipped to walk in it fully? Let’s take a moment to discuss, “Being Ready and Prepared for More.”

Maybe you have felt as I have, you just want to take a leap of faith. Perhaps you did step out and now you are overwhelmed of all that is required to walk in this new level. It’s so important to acknowledge where we may lack in order to become more prepared for what the new level requires.

Sometimes we have stayed in a position for so long that when we start to do things differently, we might start comparing our yesterday to where we now are. I think it is good to learn from our past and take these lessons with us. However, we cannot keep believing we can do the same things and have different results.

Being ready is vital but being prepared is necessary. When you decide you want to move forward into a new thing, you then choose how you may have to do so. You must do your due diligence. Research what steps you may have to take and how you may get there with the help of others.

Too often, we decide we will do things on our own without any accountability, advice, or years of research. The fact is, we can learn so much from how others did some of the things we may be trying to do. When you learn to trust the advice from a professional, you then appreciate the honest constructive learning points from them. Sometimes they will see things you may not and that is why accountability is so important.

Make sure you keep your heart right through it all. Do not be a taker. Do not allow pride to blind you at any of these important moments. Learn to take criticism effectively. Admit to areas of weakness and glean from how others have done the things you are trying to accomplish. Perhaps you need to hire some professionals, read some books, take everyday moments to pause and pray through the process and maybe do some things outside your comfort zones.

Remember fear of failing can become a downfall. But so can trying to please everyone along the way. Learn to appreciate the little things. Small victories can be the contributing factor to your growth

Remember fear of failing can become a down fall. But so can trying to please everyone along the way. Learn to appreciate the little things. Small victories can be the contributing factor to your growth through this process of being prepared for more. You may need to consider some counsel on areas such as worry, self doubt, and lack of faith. Keep in mind, nothing will be perfect and along the way you will make mistakes. It is learning to get back up and continuing to move forward that make these moments of walking and living in the “more,” appreciated.

It is funny, I have had some honest reflection where I believed some people, places and things would be a part of where I saw myself going. But what I have found is that along the way, some of these people, places and things were not meant to go with me as I continued to grow and moved forward in more. They were only part of the journey. These were some hard lessons for me personally, but I can now see and understand that God’s plans are so much bigger than my own. Accepting these moments have allowed me to grow and receive the “more.”

Being ready for more will require a lot from us. I encourage you to take moments to pray and seek God on how you are feeling. We have to be prepared for change and allow ourselves reflection and acceptance as we walk through these moments.

Tell me, have you felt a longing for more? Have you taken time to reflect and research on how you can walk in it? Taking moments like these are so important to journey on in purpose and hope. Life can be challenging along the way with many lessons to learn, but it is how we handle these times that will impact how we move forward into the “more.”

Thank you for taking moments with me. Share your story. Are you feeling stretched and longing for more? Are you researching how you can move forward in excellence and not just settle. If you are feeling burnout, it is time to reflect and re-evaluate how you can do things better. Allow the desire for more lead you to getting prepared to walk it out.
