Who are they? These are the individuals who are willing to take risks. They are willing to go into the front line even if no one else will. They pay attention to what’s going on around them while being innovative to step out with solutions whether others will immediately follow or not. All too often, we may be quick to judge those who initiate because we don’t understand their logic, methods, and judgements nor see things the way they do. Let’s take a moment together to look at “initiators.”
Those who are prepared to step out into the unknown are not foolish but willing. Most tend to understand that whether this works or not we must try something different to gain success and have better results. We all may want change but it won’t be done until someone is willing to initiate a different path. You may want to also read: “Journey Decisions.”
Those who are willing to initiate, you are to be commended. It is due to your efforts that we keep moving forward and have growth. There are many who would believe they are doing things differently however we do not see anything change. Then there are those who are honest about what is necessary to make different choices and take the risks of launching out into things for change to occur. This is what true initiators look like. You may want to also read: “Risk Taking.”
When you are willing to accept that you have to make some adjustments for various results, you are on the brink of change. Take the steps to initiate now and allow yourself to have a different perspective. It is true insanity to think you can keep doing the same things and gain different results. Initiate what you have researched and recognize what may be possible although overlooked. Be willing to step out into the deep and take what comes along with that. Don’t allow yourself to only dream but initiate the things you desire. Research others who have taken risks and initiated things in their life to walk in new levels.
When you initiate you have to be prepared for negativity, possible loss and making the wrong choices. Don’t be discouraged when you initiated a change and may not see sudden significant results. How would you know unless you tried? This would be the time to acknowledge where you missed it; then make some more adjustments and continue initiating for the change to occur. We would not have airplanes, technology, and electricity and so on if there were not those who were willing to initiate a change for the better.

loved this post! i always think – we will never change if we don’t take chances. sometimes when we initiate, the results aren’t always on our side. but sometimes they do work out. it’s up to us to take those chances. that’s where growth & experience truly lie. 🙂
Yes, absolutely you really won’t know what the results will be until you stepped out and tried it. Thank you for taking a moment to read and share your thoughts. 🤗
Initiator. I like that word. IMO, “change” or “start” can be so intimidating that people don’t do anything. “Initiator” is not. Anyone can be an initiator.
I’ve always liked being in a comfortable routine, but 5 yrs ago I decided that life was too short and that I needed to take more risks in my life (both in my career and relationships). It has added so much pleasure and satisfaction to my life.
Great post that makes you think! I agree and the saying goes, “Nothing ventured, nothing gained.” If we don’t take risks we might miss out on an opportunity that could move our life forward to the next level. Taking that chance could help you see your purpose in life. Thank you for sharing!
Change can be hard but when it is for the better it makes it all worth it. Often we stress over it but it turns out to be just fine.
Love this! I have been working on becoming an initiator in my life this past year. I was tired of letting life pass me by, and am working to go for the things I want. Thanks for a great post!
Taking risks and changing your mindset to become an initiator is so important to progress and grow. Thank you for the reminder!
I like to take risks and try a new experience. It’s nice to be the initiator and have life be more interesting.
I love this post. One of my fav podcasters Rob Dial from the Mindset Mentor recently spoke about why we need to not be afraid to take risks and how it can create the greatest life returns.
You never know until you initiate and take the risk! This post got me thinking to try to initiate things. Thanks for sharing!
