SPECIAL MOMENTS I WILL NOT FORGET ON INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY

International Women’s Day is a great time to reflect on how important women are to us. I believe it is important to give honor to whom honor is due and to bring acknowledgement as well. This year is no different and, in this post, I would like to take a moment with you to discuss, “Special Moments I will not forget on International Women’s Day.”

I can remember it like yesterday, a few years ago when Resplendency moved into a building and oh boy did it need some TLC. I was overwhelmed that on International Day, (by the way not planned), there was a group of various women who came out to help. This moved my heart so tremendously; women of all ages and various ethnic backgrounds came willingly to do whatever was necessary to accomplish what we could get done.

If it took several hours, they did not care. They only wanted to help in any way they could. Although we would not be able to finish everything on this one day, I was completely amazed at how much we accomplished because we worked as a team. This moment on International Women’s Day meant even more to me as I reflected that it was all women coming together to accomplish a specific goal.

So, on this day, I take a moment to remember how I felt on that day when we gathered on International Women’s Day. I thank God that, we can see that joining together in agreement leads to great success. I can only imagine what we as women can accomplish as we continue to inspire and encourage one another to greater things.

Knowing we can do so much when we are together as women globally, let’s reflect on who we have around us and who we can support more. I take a moment to thank each of you. Let me know what you will do on this International Women’s Day? Remember to give honor to whom honor is due. Bring support to others and keep in mind we need each other. Thank you for taking a moment with me on this International Women’s Day.
