Have you ever experienced a great time of fear of the unknown? You know that feeling that overwhelms you at first because you know you are walking into something so much bigger than you. We must remember that God will not ask any of us to do something, He has not prepared us to do. Let’s take a moment to discuss, “Living Fearlessly.”
You see as we grow, advancing forward and coming up into an unknown space is actually really good for us. If you have taken time to pray, evaluate, and ask someone honestly about all factors you are walking in and perhaps you still feel afraid of stepping into this new space, this only reflects how human you are. There are just certain times in life and decisions we make that are just genuinely overwhelming in the natural because they are so outside of what we may be used to.
When you do things outside of you, you are living a life of faith. This does NOT mean you do anything out of selfishness, vain conceit, wrong motives or independently. Living by faith thrushes you into deep waters and requires so much of you but at the same time causes an intentional heightened dependence upon God.
When you get to this place of launching deep, you come to see this is even above what you could expect or imagine. You see how all things are possible in faith and you understand I must lean on God more than ever. You learn that God would not lead you into something, where He would not be. You also see that He would not ask you to step into something you are not prepared for.
Wherever you find yourself today as a believer, how about acknowledging you need more of God and want to be able to go deeper in your relationship with Him? How about deciding that there is more and you are ready to walk in it no matter what that may look like. Don’t allow yourself to get too comfortable in any one place and never take lightly what God entrusts to you. Even if it seems small, be responsible and live intentional. Seek God with an open heart, always ready to walk outside of your comfortable place and do even more for Him. Yes, it can be scary and you may feel unprepared, but when God is in it, there really is NO LIMIT.
