It’s something given to each of us every day. How we use it can be determined by those things that play an important part of our lives. It can be viewed as a gift and yet not valued as such by many. We can make the most of our time or we can be very wasteful. Let’s take a moment to discuss, “Treasure Your Time.”
This is a great opportunity to evaluate how you manage your time. Being wise with our time comes as a result of proper planning your day out. It is not that you have to always have a schedule but it definitely helps to ensure goal-setting for the day and necessary things you may want to accomplish. Wiggle room is important because of course there may be interruptions to your schedule but try your best to stick to it. Finishing the day out with accomplished goals leaves you feeling rewarded.

On the other hand, if you are very light-hearted about getting daily tasks done, you may find yourself too laid back when it comes to accomplishing goals. You may allow yourself too many excuses for not getting necessary tasks done. As a result, someone else may have to pick up the slack unhappily or you may even battle doubt about yourself in completing things. These moments can lead to constant excuses, inability to completing tasks and even a lack of commitment.
How about being honest with yourself about the way you use your time. Treasuring your time seriously is something we all should consider. Tomorrow is not promised to any of us. So to be clear, time is a true gift from God and a treasure. Allow yourself, to adjust where necessary so that you begin to cherish time more and take it more seriously. You are not given back any time lost. You can only begin to value the time you have now.
Share with me how you treasure time. Do you think you could do better? Your story can bring encouragement to many. Let’s continue to take moments together.

I sincerely appreciate your support Charlie. We each can do better with our time and learn to treasure it more. It is something I have continued to become more mindful and intentional about. You are right the demands of life can leave us very depleted and it’s important we do not take the time we have been given everyday lightly but treasure it. Thank you for taking moments with me and sharing your thoughts.
I think I am still working on finding the right balance, so I don’t feel guilty, but also manage to do what’s needed. And most of the days I am ok, but there is always room for improvement. Thanks for sharing!

I do indeed treasure my time…however, there are some times I lack at utilizing it in the best way. One of my favorite things to do is create fun new ideas to share time and activites with my grandchildren.
