Sometimes we fear what we cannot change. We can become overwhelmed by the things we feel have been a source of pain and discomfort. We may focus on what has impacted us and if not careful, we can lose the importance of moving forward. Let’s take a moment to discuss, “Change is good.”
It is amazing how often we all experience change in our lives. Let’s be honest, every change may not be comfortable neither will it always be desirable. The important part is to learn to not fear what you cannot change in life. Rather embrace every moment as an opportunity for growth. You see, change can really be a good thing for us.
Even in the most difficult of changes, I have now come to recognize that God was using these times for my good. He brought about opportunities that were necessary and a recognition that there were things that had to be removed. He also made me aware of the need to remove the things that only change could bring about.
In life, you face a variety of moments that impact you to walk in some things so differently and beyond your comfort zones. It is important to appreciate those you may have in your life who honesty acknowledge how these moments affected them too. It is not until we can be honest with these moments that we can than embrace them. We then can face them fearlessly.
What you once feared can now become a source of encouragement to others and remembrance for you. An important factor about these moments are that you learn to see the way you faced these things, and how they will now be used to be a source of hope for someone else. This can only happen when we share our experiences and pay attention to how we came through them. It’s vital that we acknowledge God through it all. We must remember that we came through and still have a sound mind because of the reality of who He is in our life. This then allows you to bring encouragement to the lives of others.
We must accept that there are things that are just beyond our control but we don’t have to live without hope and a future. The promise of God is that He is for us as believers and He has plans desired just for us. Take this moment to face the fear of the changes you are having to live with and embrace that you are not alone in the decision to walk it out fearlessly. Thank God for removing what needed to be removed and accept now every new thing He wants to give you in place of these things. Decide to embrace change head on and by faith gain a new perspective in your life.
Let me hear your story. Tell me what changes you have had to face or are facing today? Share how these changes have impacted you? Every time you take a moment to share you can be a source of encouragement to others.
