GETTING THERE

GETTING THERE

Trying to get to the next level can be tricky and sometimes very challenging. Aspiring to move onwards and upwards can appear to be more than what it really is. It is vital to look beyond the place where you are and begin to see yourself at the next level. Let’s take a moment to discuss, “Getting There.”

It may take faith, but it will also take a confident commitment to walk in it. The truth is as you make one step forward at a time, you may have to deal with doubt, insecurity, opposition, and even thoughts of just quitting and staying where you are. These battles can be overwhelming, but we must learn to push past them.

We must understand that our mindsets matter in moving forward. It will take an attitude of security as we walk in the process.

We must understand that our mindsets matter in moving forward. It will take an attitude of security as we walk in the process. Remain steady in your decisions as you push past opposition and get to where you believe you are to be next. Let’s be honest, once you move past the possibilities of failure and discouragement, there is a sense of full assurance and accomplishment when you arrive to the next level.

It is funny how we can want to change things and consider all the things necessary to move forward and then talk ourselves out of it. It is so important to be consistent and self-assured in the decisions that we make. Rest in the fact that you are doing these things to stretch out and do things differently and for the better. Accept the fact that some may not agree with you, and you can even question yourself at times. Learn to be ok if you make a choice to step out and it is not exactly what you thought. Be willing to learn along the way and turn off negativity and self-doubt. I encourage that you pray about everything along the way and be at peace.

There is something about walking in the new level on your own; and getting there, where you believe you were meant to be. You see that there was always more and there will continue to be more, and it will be up to us to push through to get there.

This is something I am constantly learning. I believe I have had to make so many adjustments to decisions made, and new levels acquired in life. Sometimes there may be unforeseen reason that bought you to this new place in life; other times it might have been necessary. Always remember it is the choices we make in life that determine the outcomes we must live with. It is important to choose well, take time to pray about everything, and do not be led by negativity, self-doubt or fear. Make every effort to be confident in the choices you make and learn from any mistakes along the way.

Thank you for taking moments with me. Share your story with me. Have you had trouble getting there to the next level? Do you talk yourself out of the necessary changes? Are you too afraid of making mistakes? Are you concerned about what it may look like when you get there? Every decision made is important whether big or small in my opinion. Tell me how your moves have impacted where you are today and where you may be going next. I would like to continue on this topic and to also discuss, ‘waiting in the hallway next.’
